Medical Assistant Instructor
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Location: Oak Creek, WI
Job Duration: 3 Months+ contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 7 am – 6 pm Mon - Fri
Description:
A Medical Assistant is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning standard rooming responsibilities assisting with procedures discharge instructions and other duties as assigned.
Responsibility:
· Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and documentation of medical histories.
· Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
· Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as prescribed by healthcare providers.
· Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
· Perform routine laboratory tests, take vital signs, and assist with medical billing and coding tasks.
· other duties as assigned.
