Description:

Data Entry Clerk

The Data Entry Clerk - Operations is responsible for accurate entry of all inventory transactions in MAS 500. The detail-oriented candidate will interact with internal partners including the warehouse, purchasing, sales, and customer service to understand the product structure, GL structure and impact of transactions on the business financials and record keeping.

Specific Skills Needed:

Top 3-5 mandatory and/or minimum requirements

2+ years of experience in Production inventory and Production planning in a manufacturing environment

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

Strong communication skills

Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize

Strong written and oral communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word

Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications?

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent

APICS CPIM and/or CPM certification

Required levels/ Years of Experience education – discuss whether there is flexibility There is some flexibility in the qualifications, for example, a college student studying Supply Chain or Business may be a good candidate.

OptiSource has moved our inventory to CDCII on OH which has put an additional 70+ hours or work onto existing staff. This demand of resources was initially expected to be temporary during transition, however, now it is evident that this workload will continue indefinitely to support the systemic operational solution to support business. The time allocated to these tasks is causing delays in providing a satisfactory service level to our customers. This additional workload requires a person with a background in Inventory Control and Production planning in a manufacturing environment and there are no current employees with these qualifications available to reassign to the department.
