Job Requirements of Packaging Operators:
Packaging Operators Responsibilities
• Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products
• Ensure that finished products are packaged in accordance with procedures and quality specifications
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and materials
• Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts
• Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist with batch records completion
• Assist with inventory counting as needed
• Participate in safety audits and actively engage in daily safety discussions/observations
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment
• Abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control requirements (e.g., gowning)
• Handle hazardous waste appropriately
Packaging Operators Requirements
• A minimum of 6 months of industry work experience, with a focus on true packaging (medical packaging experience preferred, but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
• Good documentation practices
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as needed
• Familiarity with computers and various business software applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Packaging Operators Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in medical product packaging is highly preferred

Packaging Operators Compensation
• The pay for this position is $17 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Packaging Operators Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday through Thursday, 7 AM - 5:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays from 7 AM - 1 PM
