Automotive Technician/ Auto Mechanic

Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is looking for an Automotive Technician/ Mechanic to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the largest automotive facilities in Kansas City. Business is booming and they need to hire the right people fast.

In this position, you will perform all of the mechanical work in the collision center and also have the option to do light body repairs (bumpers and small stuff) as well as pull work from the service department. There should never be a shortage of work and this will allow you to succeed financially. In addition, the candidate will become a Certified Chrysler technician at no cost to them.

Responsibilities:

• Complete pre- and post-repair scanning for damaged vehicles
• Perform A/C Evac and Recharges as needed
• Replace suspension damaged from collisions
• Complete alignments
• Replace some suspension cradles and engine cradles
• Replace Exhaust systems as needed
• Install air bags and SRS components, once fully trained
• Mount and balance tires and wheels
• Repair mechanical collision damage per the OEM specifications
• Maintain training as needed

Qualifications:

• Two years’ experience as an auto mechanic
• ASE or Chrysler certifications are a plus
• Must pass MVR and Drug screening
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
