Summary
Industrial Inspection & Analysis is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office.
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials for the businesses. The Purchasing Manager will work closely with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.

Industrial Inspection & Analysis is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office.
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials for the businesses. The Purchasing Manager will work closely with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develops a purchasing strategy and implement procurement policies and procedures.
- Assesses current material availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables.
- Identifies IIA’s biggest spends and works to improve pricing on those
- Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
- Develop and distribute monthly reports tracking cost saving initiatives.
- Identifies new potential vendors and negotiates contracts.
- Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
- Identifies similar spends across IIA’s service lines to capitalize on unified increased quantities
- Travels to vendor and IIA locations.
- Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Excellent Interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Understanding of business and management principles
- Business acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
- 2-3 years’ experience as a purchasing or procurement manager.
- Experience using procurement software and databases.
- Must be willing to travel at least 15% of the time.
