The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 per annum. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

As a Project Manager, M&A Integrations, you will provide coordination and planning projects across one or more functional areas to support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration activities. Working closely with the Program Management Office (PMO), as well as functional teams, this role creates and maintains the project plan/timeline from ideation to implementation, with an understanding of milestones, dependencies, and owners aligning to stakeholder expectations and project scope. You will handle issue escalation to support resolution. You will hold teams accountable with respect, professionalism, and support to ensure success.

In this role, you may also facilitate meetings or workshops, document requirements, support collection and management of functional integration budgets, and when needed engage with vendors or consultants hired to perform integration activities.

This role is critical for Norstella to ensure integration activities are executed at a strong pace in support of business and synergy targets.

In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate internally, partnering with functional leads to identify tasks, milestones, timelines, dependencies, owners/resources, and risks within a project;
  • Validate and document project stakeholders, scope, goals and objectives;
  • Monitor and drive execution of tasks through regular meeting cadence, project plan updates, and report outs. This may include scheduling and facilitating progress meetings, creating agendas and communicating resulting actions, identifying risks, alternatives, and constraints and regularly updating stakeholders on overall progress. Potential to own certain aspects of projects or deliverables.
  • Document requirements for new or consolidated programs, systems, or tools identified, and align project plans to requirements;
  • Align projects with and approved and defined functional integration budget; follow internal processes to report out needs or changes, facilitate vendor engagements, and/or support vendor payment documentation and processes.
  • Adhere to Norstella process workflows, standards, change control, and change management protocols;
  • Build relationships cross functionally in the organization.
Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES

Essential requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required;
  • Expertise in project management principles, project lifecycle, and project management software, ideally Smartsheet;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate both clearly and concisely complex and / or difficult concepts to all levels. Ability to write effective emails, status reports, project materials and employee-facing communications.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills; ability to build visually appealing and digestible PPT slides;
  • Presentation skills and ability to confidently deliver updates to executives;
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and influencing skills; ability to partner and work with both business and technology stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, creative problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills. Ability to create structure and organize work. Skilled at condensing details and identifying key takeaways and next steps.
  • Goal-orientation and self-motivation;
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously as well as ability to prioritize.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with M&A integrations;
  • Experience with ERP, HRIS / Payroll, CRM, Travel & Expense system implementations or consolidation projects;
  • Experience leading cross-functional team projects including experience leading a system implementation / migration or enterprise organizational change;
  • Experience with process mapping or process workflow improvement projects;
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or other life sciences markets or industries.
