Project Manager
Trigon Steel Components is looking to add a Project Manager to our growing team.
Looking for candidates who excel in communication.
The project manager will handle all communication with the Client once the project is contracted through completed product installation including the following:
- Send out Project Information Request to Client
- Product Submittal Assembly
- Send to Client through appropriate channels
- Point of Contact between Client & Design Team (addendums, RFI's, etc.)
- Project Schedule
- Keep Client in the know with all time frames
- Submittal
- Delivery
- Install (as applicable)
In this position the individual will have the following responsibilities
- Material Ordering / Bid Pricing
- Lock down metal deck/plywood sheathing pricing within two weeks of contract
- Locate best pricing for TAN products
- TAN Products - coordinate all incoming deliveries with Production Manager
- Truss Material - create summary and give to Production Manager. Order material once summary is approved
- Project Deliveries
- Coordinate with Client & Installation Team
- Coordinate with Production Manager
- Coordinate with carrier (Trigon Steel, Other Carrier)
- Coordinate Truss Installation
- Communicate Truss Modifications
- Communication between Client and Design Team
- Procure accurate information needed for the repair or change from field
- Coordinate with Design Team
- Provide proper documentation of the change to Client and explain how to make correction
- Final Drawings
- Provide final compiled set of drawings with changes to Client once project is completed
Minimum High School/GED Diploma
A college Degree in Project Management is a preferred but not required
Candidates should be fluent in Microsoft Office (outlook, Excel, Word)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Project Management: 1 year (Preferred)
