Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$97,800.00 - $161,300.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Oversees projects of a large size and/or complexity. Is responsible for training activities and strategies for Claim learning technology. Directs the analysis, design, development, and delivery of classroom, virtual, and blended learning curriculum to meet the technical and skill requirements of employees, vendors and business partners at various levels of the organization. Directs short and long-term planning strategies that include creating distance learning and virtual training organizational capabilities. Provides leadership and direction to a training team including coaching, mentoring and development. This role may manage others and may be a manager of managers.
What Will You Do?

May manage the day-to-day work of direct reports.

Assess and develop short and long-term planning strategies for optimizing learning technology by working with clients in support of business objectives.

As needed, design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training strategy, programs, and curriculum, using the appropriate training methodology to meet training initiatives and enhance productivity for the business.

Provides technical expertise to the Learning and Development teams.

Develop and execute plans for onboarding, operationalizing, and optimizing enterprise learning technologies within Claim/Claim U; collaborate with enterprise learning teams on implementation planning.

Provides value added consultation to Enterprise Learning and Line of Business Learning Functions to ensure our technology is being utilized in the most effective ways

Engages, influences and inspires learning professionals and and the Claim organization to understand needs, adopt new technology and embrace changes and additions to our learning environment

Assesses and develop short and long-term planning strategies and initiatives.

Develops appropriate measures to ensure training initiatives are effective and in alignment with business strategy.

Evaluates the results of training, determine effectiveness and recommend appropriate alternatives.

Develop and manage Claim U technology budget, ensuring cost effective methods are utilized and business training needs are met.

Identifies and deploys appropriate resources to meet client needs.

Identifies, evaluates and may negotiate vendor alternatives. Manages vendor quality.

Works with peers and business partners to identify areas where common learning technology solutions can be leveraged across businesses.

Responsible for providing consistent performance feedback and coaching to staff.

Completes formal performance reviews for staff and other HR administrative tasks as needed.

Develops team goals and drive strategies to meet business objectives.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
-
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience in adult learning techniques, educational/learning technologies, customer service or management preferred.
-
6+ years of professional experience preferred.
-
7+ years of experience in designing or implementing technology-based learning strategies and tools preferred.
-
2 years of management experience preferred.
-
Professional training credentials preferred.
-
Knowledge and proficiency in managing the following technology-based learning tools and resources: Learning Platforms, Web conferencing Tools, Skills Management System, Online Authoring Tools, Assessment/Survey Tools, Simulation Software, Embedded Help Tools, and Online Courseware.

Extensive knowledge of learning and development, including needs assessment, curriculum development, course design, media selection, distance education, and online/web technologies and project management.

What is a Must Have?
- Minimum of five years of work experience in supported or related business operation or other learning and development experience.
