SUMMARY:

Global LT is a language services company searching for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for preparing Global LT's financial and performance reports and analysis, collecting and analyzing data for accuracy, as well as supporting each department with meaningful financial information. This position will be responsible for updating financial planning software with required operational and financial data and will be responsible for running dynamic forecasting models. The right candidate enjoys working on an international team and works with ease across departments to help leaders obtain the financial data and analysis they need. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Accounting and Finance team during the month end process, run and analyze reports to evaluate company performance
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis schedules, actual versus budget variance reporting
• Develop financial forecasting and projections models, analyze revenue trends and projections
• Prepare and distribute internal financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts
• Prepare periodic external reports
• Design key performance metrics and prepare operational performance analysis
• Prepare sales analysis, analyze costs and other factors to determine appropriate pricing 
• Consolidate financial reports of a multi-entity organization
• Develop ad hoc reports, special studies, and financial analyses which drive the behavior of the business
• Communicate with management at all levels and present results to executive management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:                                              

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field
• 3+ years of work experience in a related field, such as Accounting or Finance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in an environment that is rapidly changing, where processes and procedures are in development
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Proficiency in Excel is required
• Experience working in accounting and forecasting/planning systems
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Excellent collaborator
• Awareness and reliability regarding timelines for accurate reporting of financial performance
• Professional and honest
• Ability to take ownership of responsibilities
