The Senior Electronic Project Engineer will develop and design the electronic content of quality electromechanical products within agreed timescales according to Company procedures and lead product development from start to production.

About the Position:
Develops and designs profitable electromechanical products according to KOSTAL SPICE processes and procedures
Provides a development and design service that will help R&D achieve a close working relationship with our customers
Leads product development teams to achieve on-time deliveries and quality sign-off
Documents the development and design, so that it attains Group Leader approval
Initiates and documents complete stack-ups of the designed product to ensure a robust design
Provides production with all relevant information for components and assemblies (e.g. Component drawings, assembly drawings)
Ensures feasibility of designed components and assemblies by using all relevant steps of product design according to QM Guidelines
Initiates and tracks complete Design Verification and Product Verification according to customer specification requirements in close relationship to KOSTAL test lab
Documents software development using state-of-the-art tools (e.g. Eclipse)
Provides technical support to Sales and Marketing to obtain new business
Provides support to production areas to overcome problems. (Analysis, training if required etc.)
Considers the consequences of patents and legislations
Cooperates with other departments internationally, and with various departments of customers
Makes design changes that are evaluated for feasibility, cost, and timing
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics (Masters or BSEE Degree Preferred)
Minimum of 5 Years of Relevant Experience
Design Work Using State-of-the-Art Electronic Development and Simulation Tools
Knowledge of Microcontrollers and Programming with State-of-the-Art Software (C or C++/Eclipse, AUTOSAR)
Experience with Automotive Network Systems is Required
Design of Complex Products Including Digital and Analog Circuits
Involvement in Teamwork Internally and with Customers
Leadership of Development Teams
Involvement of Development of Electromechanical Products
