The Superintendent will own and manage all aspects of projects including client relationships, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive multifamily construction project completion. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked. Focusing on multi-family projects built from the ground up.

Our client is an established Portland-based construction GC with projects across the Portland area. With an excellent reputation on the market, the company has secured an extensive pipeline of ground up multi-family and commercial projects.
Description
Responsibilities Will Include But Will Not Be Limited To:
Meet weekly and communicate daily with construction subcontractors to assess construction project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries
Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other construction project specific issues
Attain a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications
Enforce construction safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards
Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots
Communicate daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the completion of the construction project
Profile
Required:
5+ years' experience in the construction industry with a general contractor
1-3 years' experience as Superintendent on $1M-$20M+ ground-up construction projects
Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry
Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial to success of the multi family Supintendent
Preferred:
multifamily project experience
OSHA 30
First Aid/CPR Certification
