Introduction to the team

Welcome to the Cybersecurity Consulting practice within Risk Advisory and Compliance. We are looking for a cybersecurity Senior Manager to join our team. Cybersecurity continues to be one of the most in-demand services around and our client’s success is dependent on keeping their critical business data secure by maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This position will lead FedRAMP engagement teams, provide guidance on our various cybersecurity consulting and assessment services, and help enhance and further evolve our practice. This position will be part of our FedRAMP team, and will help guide program execution, operations, and strategy for both assessment and readiness consulting work.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple engagement teams to oversee and provide guidance, quality control and leadership over several simultaneous engagements at varying stages in their lifecycle.

  • Actively participate in high level meetings for engagements through interviews and interaction with the FedRAMP PMO, A2LA, C-level management teams, and other executive stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities include directing the work of teams, managing project scope, timeline, deadlines, deliverables, and budgets/expenses, and making informed project decisions.

  • Provide quality assurance reviews over engagement execution and deliverables to ensure they meet the high standards of the firm.

  • Serve as mentor and career advisor to multiple team members.

  • Be active in evangelizing the services of the FedRAMP team through participation in various marketing and sales activities, including conducting webcasts, conference presentations, white paper/article development, and proposal development.

  • Provide leadership and direction for carrying out cybersecurity consulting initiatives and action items.

  • Conduct formal and informal training sessions to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, cybersecurity, information technology, computer science or other related field or equivalent experience.

  • 7 to 10 years of cybersecurity or IT experience required.

  • 7 years or more experience in conducting cybersecurity audits and assessments is preferred.

  • Direct experience assessing FedRAMP.

  • Solid project and time management skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills, and experience presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders is desired.

  • Ability to be self-directed taking initiative to do what is required.

  • Great organizational skills and ability to administer and monitor multiple engagements.

  • Travel up to 20%

This is the typical range of pay for the position; however, actual pay may vary based on experience, skillset, and location. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation Range (Denver Market ONLY): Colorado State: $131,000 - $220,000
