Dallas, TX (Remote) Full-Time
Title: FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Location: REMOTE IN THE U.S.
Compensation Range: $45-58/hour


POSITION:
ICS, a Korn Ferry company, has partnered with a client in the Dallas area to hire a Software Engineer who will work with PHP, Nodejs, and JavaScript! If you don't have experience with these languages, but have other OOP experience and an interest in learning them, then this could be the right fit for you! This person will be an asset to the company's Research & Development team and drive high standards while managing the process of pushing development into production. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, have a passion for development, and possess a true entrepreneurial spirit!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead engineering efforts in building out new features that directly impact the relationship between customers and other external partners.
  • Engineer highly available, scalable software and data architectures.
  • Build out real-time analytics and reporting dashboards that are optimized for big data and synced in real time across multiple clients.
  • Work with a small team of experienced and highly talented engineers in a CI/CD environment with cutting edge technologies.
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal teams -- such as Front End Team to fine tune REST APIs, DevOps team to ensure a scalable & secure production environment, Data Scientists to guide implementation of algorithms, etc.
  • Mentor junior engineers by setting good examples for clean, testable, effective code.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 2 or more years of software engineering experience with JavaScript and one or more Object Oriented Programming language (such as PHP, Python, Java, C#, Ruby, etc.)
  • Excellent object-oriented development skills.
  • Deep understanding of graph design principles with a strong background full-stack development environments.
  • Optimization of databases for big data environment, structuring of queries for fast responses.
  • Past experience in significant cross-functional engineering efforts.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • It's a plus if you have experience working on customer-facing products!
