Our Robotics Division is looking for Mechanical Engineers to support various projects in the Research & Development environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate/lead for developing innovative designs of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies, vibration controls, and robotic systems in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Proficient in mechanical system design; CAD; machine kinematics and dynamics modeling and simulation; vibration analysis and testing, structural analysis using finite element software.
• Support/lead laboratory, shipboard, and airborne tests of advanced prototype systems and manufacturing processes.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results.  Prepare technical proposals, reports, and present briefings to management, customers, etc.
• Help mentor junior engineers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Ocean Engineering. 
• 5 – 15 years of cumulative professional experience in Defense and/or commercial industry. 
• For recent college graduates: Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Ocean Engineering with relevant thesis/research projects.
