Overview
We are looking for a passionate healthcare professional to lead our dynamic Program Management team in ensuring the successful delivery of the highest quality of services according to customer needs for Sedgwick Government Solution's (SGS) high-profile federal customers.
As the Vice President of Specialty Programs/Program Manager, you will be a member of our management team and lead key client teams in building and nurturing loyal, long-lasting relationships. You will manage the approach to providing services and achieving program outcomes to meet the needs of our customers. The successful candidate will be an organized, strategic, and strong leader, with proven client and project management skills.
Vice President of Specialty Programs/Program Manager Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relations with key accounts to accomplish growth and long-term company objectives.
Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.
Perform duties including direct Account Management services and customer services for assigned clients.
Support client relationships; build executive relationships; support collaborative internal relationships.
Ensure the continued satisfaction and success of SGS's key accounts by overseeing the work of the account team, anticipating client needs, working internally to ensure deadlines for client deliverables are met, and helping clients meet program goals.
Work with clinical management, SGS Managers, and team members from other business units to ensure the successful delivery of the highest quality of services according to customer needs and objectives.
Work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
Communicate the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the SGS project team.
Provide regular two-way communication between the client and SGS team through updated written instructions, internal meetings, and meeting minutes, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
Is an effective team member; supports the team by pitching in at any level and effectively working across the organization to meet the needs of the business.
Embraces change; maintains an open mind and is flexible and adaptable in the face of ambiguity and change.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and adjust priorities.
Proactively seeks opportunities to increase knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ensure services are provided to SGS's Key Accounts in accordance with contract requirements and support positive program outcomes, including but not limited to, return on investment.
Communicate clearly the progress of key client initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Represent the company broadly to all external audiences, help to hire, onboard, and retain top talent across the Client team, contribute to our setting of a strategy, make budget and talent decisions, and build expertise in all areas of the Client team.
Support the corporate financial and service objectives.
Vice President of Specialty Programs/Program Manager Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) preferred
12 years of related experience including account/project management for complex national accounts
12 years of in-depth relevant experience in managed care, health plan programs, and complex delivery models
10 years of supervisory experience in a team and demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions with high-profile customers based on customer needs
Advanced ability to manipulate and present data using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Comprehensive experience with MS Office.
