ALOM is looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist (People) position at our Indianapolis, IN, location who are:

You will have the opportunity to:
Work closely with a world-class team in supporting the facility's operational needs to create and shape the development and culture of our Indiana location. You will have the opportunity to expand your job knowledge and take on new deliverables as you provide onsite management and support.
Here's what you will need:
Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources (People Team) experience. Manufacturing warehouse experience a plus.
High computer proficiency, including Windows OS/Microsoft Office
Familiar with Paychex Flex or similar payroll software and benefits administration software (HCM)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Must have experience with ATS and the implementation of HCM new systems
You will be responsible for:
Partnering with the Sr. Director of People/People Team and the Director of Operations in staffing administration (interview scheduling; oversee of job postings and refinement of current job descriptions/profiles; time and attendance; update job boards as needed)
Collaborating with the Head of People Team and the Sr. Director of People on learning and development curriculum and calendars
Partnering with the Director of Operations to report problems, suggest solutions, and associated costs
Supporting staff by conducting and helping deliver the new employee orientation and onboarding program
Confirming performance management process is well coordinated and assessments are processed on time according to the anniversary cycle
Working with Payroll to resolve employee payroll inquiries and issues
Supporting the CA People Team with employee benefits programs and annual open enrollment process
Providing a weekly status update on any pending projects
Ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and upholding Indiana federal and state employment regulations and requirements; COVID compliance; maintaining records and personnel files; stationing annual posters
Recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve technical (digital transformation) inefficiency of the department and services performed
Maintaining historical personnel records by designing an electronic filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
Promoting a positive team attitude with employees
Completing the People Team operational and strategic requirements with a team effort mentality
Representing the People Team at a cultural level (diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice)
Streamlining tactical procedures and documenting policies and processes
Participating with input in developing warehouse goals, objectives, and systems
Performing other related duties as required and assigned
