The Info Security Tech Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy. This role will be responsible for Infrastructure Integrations. This will involve application Infrastructure setup from scratch and enhancing/upgrading the existing ones. This will require candidate to collaborate with various teams on every aspect of the application infrastructure like setting up various environments, security assessment, transition of Infrastructure and tools under global operating model, provide L3 support for day-to-day production issues, carry out root cause analysis/resolution for issues, supporting project transition within the Cyber Security & Networks department.
Responsibilities:

Setup applications from scratch in various environments like DEV, UAT, PROD as SME (Subject Matter Expert) and provide L3 support

Capacity, Performance and Stability reporting and Management
-
Innovate and bring process and technical enhancements
-
Lead initiative to develop/improve scripts and other programs for system monitoring and maintenance
-
Lead Infrastructure projects and Security assessment for the infrastructure associated the applications in scope
-
Leadership Skills to Document and do knowledge transfer to other team members

Work closely with the development team to ensure the operational requirements are met during the project transition

Continuously keep the Knowledge Share repository up to date

Assist Security Incident Response Teams with incident investigations and aid in technical risk assessments

Coordinate with system development and infrastructure units to identify Information Security (IS) risks and the appropriate controls for development, day-to-day operation, and emerging technologies

Perform regular assessments based on changes in the threat landscape
-
Monitor vulnerability assessments and ethical hacks, ensuring that issues are addressed for the applications that they support
-
Provide information security support with related activities during systems development (e.g. authentication, encryption)
-
Identify and develop new and improved technical procedures and process control manuals
-
Identify significant IS threats and vulnerabilities
-
Assume informal/formal mentorship role within teams and assist with the coaching and training of new team members
-
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:

Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on various operating systems – Windows Servers and Linux
-
Knowledge of one or more of these scripting languages – Python, Unix Shell, Perl & PowerShell scripting

Understanding of networking concepts and protocols

Experience with RDBMS from application programmer’s perspective
-
Understanding of how to interface with these databases, analyze & write queries & procedures
-
Integration of server performance and capacity monitoring tools with various products
-
Working knowledge of open source automation and resource/system monitoring technologies
-
Is security conscious and has experience deploying security related updates to application and has deep understanding of server level patching mechanism
-
Must have exceptional analytical skills

Strong customer and quality-focus

Must have experience following and developing procedures for operational support along with good documentation skills using well known tools & web applications

Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills

Fluently communicates in both written and oral English

Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

Experience with production server support, application upgrades and project life cycle/ SDLC process
-
Experience with Data Protection Technologies like Physical or Virtual Hardware Security Modules, Public key Infrastructure, Encryption and Tokenization will be considered a plus

Specialization / Certification in any Data Protection Technology or Cloud certifications – AWS, GCP
-
Operating System certifications like MCSA (Windows Server), RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Server+ Hands on experience with web services and associated frameworks like SOAP, REST, and WCF

Knowledge of Security tools and hands-on experience with some of the following technologies is an added advantage:

Workload Automation & Job execution tools

Infrastructure automation tools like CHEF.

Experience with documenting within web based collaboration tools
-
Experience working and implementing tools that monitoring infrastructure server utilization and services

5+ years of relevant experience

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Proven influencing and relationship management skills

Proven analytical skills
Proven ability to work with demanding global partners within aggressive timelines; solid problem solving, analytical and technical abilities
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
