Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is growing Full Stack Engineering capabilities to better position for the needs of the 21st century warfighter. As such, F-35 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with broad experience who can provide domain expertise across several technical traditional and non-traditional IT-stacks and help to grow full stack engineering skills within Aero.

Senior Full Stack Engineers are responsible for development of IT solutions across all stages of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support. They are proficient in IT infrastructure, security, software development, data storage, user experience, software pipeline automation, and systems integration. They develop following Agile processes and embrace commonality through the use and creation of common technology stacks and are proficient in build vs adopt vs buy analysis of solutions. Senior Full Stack Engineers should be able to successfully guide development teams on major programs and will serve in both technical and leader capacities. They will have extensive technical domain expertise and competency in tangentially related disciplines. They may represent the organization as a prime technical contact on contracts, proposals, and other projects, and will perform outreach to other teams internal and external to the company.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or above in:

- Computer Science

- Computer Engineering

- Software Engineering

- Experience with at least one “flavor” of Kubernetes deployments (k8s, k3s, TKG, EKS, Openshift, Rancher, etc)

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, etc)

- Experience with Agile Tracking tools (Jira, Redmine, Trello, Confluence, or similar tools)

- Experience creating Helm Charts

- Experience using Ansible

- Experience in Linux and or Windows Administration

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Desired Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

- Expertise in more than one of Python, Golang, Java, Node.JS

- Expertise in Oracle SQL

- Experience with leveraging distributed source control and each stage of DevSecOps

- Expertise in more than one of JavaScript (React)

- Experienced in use of infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Packer, Terraform, CloudFormation)

- Demonstrated expertise in developing with multiple web front end UI frameworks

- Demonstrated expertise with use of data storage, and various data structures

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
