Mission Intelligence Division Technical Director

ManTech’s Mission Intelligence (MI) Division is seeking a Technical Director to join our team. This Executive Director-level role leads the development of complex solutions to meet MI Division client needs; interfaces with senior level client representatives; and facilitates collaboration and provides thought leadership across ManTech.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Provides technical leadership to MI Divisionprogram delivery teams and priority growth opportunities.

Provides input as a key Stakeholder to MI Division strategy.

Develops solutions in the areas of Offensive and/or Defensive Cyber, Enterprise/Mission IT, Software and System Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data at the Edge.

Coordinates with Enterprise and Sector Growth teamsand ManTech’s Innovation and Capability Office (ICO) to ensure the MI Division is leveraging corporate resources effectively in support Division-level priorities.

Analyzes new business opportunities and develops strategies to influence client technical requirements. Provides technical briefings to senior client technical representatives to communicate the value of ManTech’s solution approach.

Meets with customers to understand technical requirements, state of current environments, mission needs, and hard problem sets.

Analyzes customer hard problem sets and emerging technology needs and supports the development of ManTech capabilities to meet these challenges through active stakeholder participation in Internal Research and Development efforts.

Ensures that solutions teams are developing responsive, complete, and differentiated technical solutions to address customer challenges and needs while leveraging corporate investments, best practices, and vendor partnerships.

Interfaces with industry, academia, and research centers to proactively identify emerging technology and best practices that can be applied to client needs and to stay informed on new technology trends.

Provides thought leadership across ManTech through active participation in Communities of Practice centered on ManTech Technical Focus Areas: Cognitive Cyber; Enterprise/Mission IT; Analytics, AI, and Automation; Systems Engineering; Data at the Edge.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering,Cybersecurity,or related technical area preferred,Master’s degree desired

Fifteen years related experience including management experience and/or technical delivery in at least one of the following areas: Cyber, Enterprise/Mission IT, Software and System Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data at the Edge.

Demonstrated capability in architecting, developing, and delivering large and/or complex technical projects

Demonstrated experience supporting agencies within the Intelligence Community (IC)

Strong presenceand demonstrated ability to build, extend and maintain senior client relationships

Exceptional communication, team building and mentoring skills. Strong ability to manage multiple projects, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and switch between assignments quickly. Strong ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
Security Clearance:
Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required. Polygraph preferred.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation
