Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, supporting and managing the data and voice networks and/or Communication and Collaboration platforms respective to each area of network/collaboration infrastructure that are critical to day to day operations. Daily services include the design, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of switches, routers and wireless equipment as well as other network infrastructure and application components including communication and collaboration platforms. Systems include: network switching and routing, wireless network security, IP based telephone systems, DNS/DHCP, Internet gateways or any other network related systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience with a ten (10) year IT concentration is required. Requires ten (10) or more years of experience in data and voice networking; Cisco switching and routing; managing in a Lan/Wan environment. Seven (7) years of experience managing Enterprise Firewalls. Ten (10) years of experience in communication and collaboration. Preferred licenses and certifications: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), ITIL.
