SUMMARY
Under the general guidance of the Manager and/or Director, Information Security, the Information Security Analyst will provide support in the day-to-day operational aspect of IT system security designs, policies, and solutions in conjunction with the Security Architects and Managers. This analyst role will participate on project teams across business and IT groups. This role will also assist in managing enterprise information security initiatives in support of the core security functions of the Information Security group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Security Architects and Analysts in all aspects of information security management particularly in creation, design, and maintenance of security policies and standards.

Provides technical and operational support that relates to IT risk and compliance, internal investigations, audits, assessments, in conjunction with Legal, HR, Corporate Compliance, and Internal Audit.

Ensures compliance with information security policies and monitor policy exceptions. Help manage the Security Awareness Program.

Assist in managing and analyzing cyber threat news feeds including investigations and qualifying incidents reported.

Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
-
A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of work experience in any technical field.

A minimum of one (1) year work experience in information security or IT audit.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or business discipline from an accredited university or equivalent years of work experience in the field.

Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communications skills in both technical and non-technical language.

Familiarity with incident response, forensics, malware analysis, and secure code review is a plus.

Mathematical Skills
- College level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
- An industry recognized certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISA) is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
