Radiologic Technologist
Job Description
244031 - Radiologic Technologist - Albany, OR - 13 Weeks Contract
Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for Radiologic Tech to work onsite at contracted facilities in Albany, OR.
EMR Used: EPIC
Shift: Days, occasional weekends
Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as
- directed by physicians.
- Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results.
- Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
- Maintain ultrasound and vascular lab equipment in appropriate operating condition.
- Maintain examination rooms and work areas. Order and stock all ultrasound and vascular
- lab supplies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Experience in vascular, general, specials and echo are needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work as a team member within the ultrasound department and all other departments.
- Document work processes as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program required.
Certification/Licensure:
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required upon submission.
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider American Heart Association BLS required upon submission.
Experience:
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
