TENANT & RELEASE MANAGER

The Integrated Service Center (ISC) division of UW-IT supports the University's faculty, staff and student workers by configuring and supporting UW's Workday HCM, Payroll, and Finance Modules. Within the ISC, the Workday Platform Support Team supports Reporting and Analytics, Security, Release Management, Tenant Support, and Quality Assurance functions. The hallmarks of the ISC are delivering services that are timely, accurate and highly attuned to the fast-paced university environment.
The Tenant and Release Manager position supports critical Finance, HR, and Payroll system business continuity efforts through leading Workday's Platform support team through robust release and quality assurance efforts.
The Tenant and Release Manager role will serve three primary purposes; 1) Establish, document, and oversee tenant release strategy and approach, 2) Manage Workday (SaaS) core tenant health responsibilities including QA, system performance monitoring, and incident response policy and procedures, and 3) Plan system new feature adoption
The Tenant and Release Manager works closely with business and technical subject matter experts, Workday application management team and downstream system administrators, as well as business stakeholders to ensure system viability. System viability includes oversight for bi-annual Workday release cycle in addition to weekly UW Workday Production change control as well as actively managing and escalating risk around customer impacting issues.
