Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Full-time AND four-day workweeks? YES, please! Two upbeat physicians seek an experienced, loving nanny to *indefinitely* become part of their cheerful home. You’ll enjoy every Monday off, working Tuesday-Friday 7:30-5:30(ish), remaining flexible that some days the doctors may get delayed. There’s a lot of excitement going on as Mom, Dad, and two-year-old Maddie have moved cities, and the new baby’s arriving this April. Your pleasant, fun-loving disposition will blend right in with the parent’s Montessori approach. There’s a ton of child-led play to encourage curiosity, exploration, independence, and confidence-building. The house runs smoothly via an organized-yet-relaxed framework. Maddie will be in preschool a few days per week (10 minutes away), and you’ll need to manage her pick-ups and drop-offs in your own vehicle. She’s shy at first but deeply loving and empathetic. You’ll have a ball doing arts and crafts together, cooking, reading, and going to the park. There are no food allergies, but please be current on your flu shot and Covid vaccines. You’ll also help with the children’s laundry, washing bottles, and pet care for their sweet, gentle, hypoallergenic four-year-old furbaby. Bernedoodle Milton will be your best friend if you take him on a 20-minute walk once per day, let him out occasionally, and give him ample belly rubs. Between Milton, Maddie, and the new baby, you’ll think your job is a professional snuggler! We’ve worked with this wonderful family before, supporting them through Maddie’s baby phase in another city. Although we don’t pick favorites, if we did, this family would be on our list.
The Ideal Nanny Would Be...CARING! You’re a loving, energetic, kind, and patient role model. Bubbling with creativity, you can’t wait to try new activities and explore fresh experiences with the children because you know that’s what fosters growth and development. This family has a lot of fun together and they want you beside them for it. That’s why a seasoned nanny like you -- who’s trustworthy, stable, and reliable -- is thrilled at the idea of becoming a cherished member of this jubilant home. The music is always playing, inevitably breaking out a semi-continuous dance party. If your toe is tapping already, then APPLY right now and pirouette into their flash mob in progress.
