Job Description

Catholic Charities of Saratoga, Warren & Washington Counties is seeking a part time Licensed Practical Nurse. The Nurse will supplement the current staff in providing quality, end of life care to terminally ill hospice patients in a 2-bed resident, home-like setting under the guidance of the Program Director and in collaboration with hospice staff and Mary’s Haven volunteers.

Hours: 16-21 including day, weekend, and occasional night shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• LPN preferred; however, CNA candidates with related experience will be considered

• 1-3 years direct patient care experience; experience with end of life care preferred.

• Solid judgement and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with Hospice and Mary’s Haven staff

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize needs

• Flexibility in regards to scheduling with attention to timeliness and dependability
