Description

We are seeking a Non CDL Over the Road (OTR) driver to partner with another driver as a Team! This position will be On the Road (OTR) up to 4-5 days a week.

BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Team Drive - On the Road (OTR) up to 4-5 days per trip, out of state and long distances, one driver is "on duty" and driving, the other driver is "off duty" and sleeping
  • Able to drive 26' Box Truck (sleeper)
  • Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
  • Experience or willing to learn to use ELOGS
  • Comply with DOT regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude when on a customer job site
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and communicate any problems or issues to dispatch/managers
  • Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles
Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations
  • Must be at least 21+ years of Age
  • Possess a valid driver's license (Non-CDL) with a For-Hire Endorsement
  • US Passport/Passport Card is a plus
  • At least three (3) year's commercial driving experience operating a DOT truck
  • Must have a valid driver's license (Non-CDL) and DOT Medical Card or you must have the ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes). Two or less 'Moving Violations' in the past 3 years. Zero instances of 'DWI/DUI' in the past 5 years
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
  • Lift at least 45 lbs. Walk, stand, reach, bend and sit for extended periods of time, Climb/step-up into a truck cab
  • Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills and GPS and other routing systems
  • Dependable, reliable and willingness to learn and be trained
  • Must NOT be restricted for access on military bases and government facilities
