Physician Assistant
The Feldman ENT division of CAdENT is growing and looking for a Physician Assistant ( PA-C)
to join our team! We are a well-known and respected practice in the Washington, DC area for over 80 years. Our top-notch doctors wish to expand our practice to meet the

As a Physician Assistant (PA ) in our practice, you will be asked to perform the following core duties (in addition to job-related tasks other than those specifically listed):
Responsibilities
-
Perform health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician
-
Examine patients, perform and record histories and physical examinations
-
Administer or order diagnostic testing such as hearing tests, VNG, CT scans, etc.
-
Interpret test results and communicate them to the patient in a reasonable time frame
-
Develop and implement patient management plans expeditiously documented in EMR
-
Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed care plans
-
Consult with physicians when warranted to assess patient conditions and treatment plans
-
Perform minor office procedures such as ear cleanings, suture removals, injections, endoscopy
-
Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
-
Collaborate effectively and communicate with other team members
-
Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients

Assist in the operating room with designated duties
-
Perform preoperative activities according to the facility
-
Provide support to medical and office staff
-
You will truly function to extend the physicians
Competencies/ Required Skills and Abilities

Strong Interpersonal Skills- Including an ability to develop relationships and collaborate in our organization and show patience for a population that includes small children and the elderly

An ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Effective written and oral communication skills

Familiarity with EMR systems

Willingness to work independently

Problem-solving skills

Professionalism in personal presentation

Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Licensure/Certification/Qualifications
-
Completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program
-
PA-C (required)
-
Physicians Assistance License or qualified to obtain a license ( required)
-
BLS Certification preferred
-
Must maintain CEU in accordance with licensure requirements

No prior PA work experience required
