Senior Financial Analyst
TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Miami, FL
Compensation Range: 100 - 110k
We are looking for a hard-working, motivated Senior Financial Analyst who will assist our Financial Planning & Analysis team. This person will work closely with cross functional teams to provide direct reporting, analytical, and strategic support.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT
- Track business performance against operating plans and provide monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date variance analysis for management and business leads, including identifying any trends or areas of risks and opportunities
- Assist in preparation of management desks and board of director materials
- Continuously focus on enhancing forecast methodology and accuracy as well as increasing efficiency through process automation
- Responsible for performing ad hoc financial analyses to support decision-making, predominantly focused on paid media investments and subscriber acquisition, retention, unit economics, ROI, revenue, and expense planning
- Advise on unit economics and P&L impacts of partnership opportunities, preparing and maintaining deal models throughout the negotiation and implementation life cycle
- Establish business relationships across the organization and serve as a strategic thought partner with cross functional teams including Strategy, Product, Marketing, Data Science and Demand Planning
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A / corporate finance / investment banking
- Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills and proficient in Google Suites (slides & sheets)
- Ability to draw insights from large data sets
- Understanding of subscription business metrics such as lifetime value, customer acquisition costs, subscription cohorts, and retention curves is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences
- Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to move workstreams forward independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- High proficiency and enthusiasm for creating new reports to drive insight into business-critical metrics
