Safety Administrative Assistant
Pro-Vac is looking for an experienced a Safety Administrative to join our phenomenal team in Deer Park, TX.

THE POSITION:
The Safety Admin Assistant is primarily responsible to keep all health and safety data and systems updated, as well as updating online pre-qualification sites. The Safety Admin Assistant also assists with the Safety & HR Department by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent multi-tasking, organization, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to handle high level of confidential information.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and review training documents to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate training and renewal of OQs and online site-specific training (BNSF, Amtrak, eRailSafe, etc.) and update training profiles in KPA Safety Software.
- Damage reporting for State of Texas when required.
- Manage pre-qualification and safety websites, such as ISNetworld, Avetta and MSDS Online.
- Monitor drug screens and background screens and update Applicant Tracking system (Monday.com/UltiPro).
- Create minutes and agenda for Safety and Engagement Committee (SEC) meetings.
- Assist with Worker’s Compensation Claims and Vehicle Accident Insurance correspondence and claims management to update tracking sheets.
QUALFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one year of similar experience in a Safety environment preferred.
- Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.
