How You Will Be Successful:

  • Own the leasing process from introduction to move-in. This includes greeting guests, identifying their housing needs, touring the property, showing apartments, explaining lease criteria, determining eligibility based on established criteria, following-up with prospects, closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting units to ensure a great “move-in experience”
  • Own the renewal process from move-in through renewal. This includes providing ongoing communication, excellent resident relations, and timely processing of the renewal.

  • Inspect units for market readiness prior to showing and move-in; resolve issues with appropriate parties
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval security deposits, rent payments and other bookkeeping tasks
  • Maintain positive communications with residents and provide excellent service through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concerns
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of resident functions
  • Maintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of the property, other Mills properties and local competitors
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval security deposits, rent payments and other bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with service requests, package collection, and property cleanliness
  • Maintain a professional and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • NALP certification preferred but not required
  • Compelling communicator with strong negotiating, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  •  Valid driver’s license
  • Adept at building relationships and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other’s ideas, giving due appreciation, and bringing out the best in others
