Project Engineer

Paragon Energy Solutions North Richland Hills, TX (On Site) Full-Time
Paragon Energy Solutions

Paragon is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Project Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Innovation Team to support the future development of Advanced Nuclear reactor and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
Work with a team to schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable specifications, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and performance standards
Interact with the engineering team to ensure adherence to the project specifications and quality program requirements
Report regularly on project status
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Generate project related documentation to fulfill contract requirements
Responsible for ensuring everything goes according to plan during the implementation time frame
Requirements:
BS degree in Nuclear Engineering or relevant field required
Experience working in a highly regulated industry, Nuclear industry preferred
Experience working with Nuclear Instrumentation such as Flux measurements preferred
Prior proven working experience as a Project Engineer is required
Working knowledge of software design tools such as Solidworks required
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Project management and supervision skills
Decision making ability and leadership skills
