The Assistant Vice President of Patient Services
The primary goal is the delivery of quality, compassionate, culturally competent, cost-effective and efficient care to individuals, families and communities served,
The Assistant Vice President collaborates with the Patient Care Management Team to ensure the goals in formulating, implementing and evaluating patient services in the Medical Center and community,
Reports directly to the CNO & is responsible 24 hours a day for the operations of Patient Care Services,
Responsibilities include:
Managing a comprehensive array of Patient Care Services while assuming leadership responsibilities for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinically effective and efficient systems of service within the continuum of care,
Oversight of all Quality Initiatives for Patient Safety, Prevention & Reduction of HAI's.
Leads the Patient Care Services Patient Experience Prescriptive Plan.
Executes efficiency initiatives to ensure patient throughput and length of stay.
Constructs strategies, sets goals, promotes professional development and develops leaders for all departments within the service line,
Oversight & Validation of Employee Engagement Initiatives.
Leads fiscal oversight of allocated resources.
Assures compliance with regulatory, accrediting, to ensure quality, clinical outcomes, processes, services, satisfaction, aligns to national quality standards and best demonstrated practices,
Requirements:
Registered Professional Nurse in New Jersey
BSN & Advanced Degree or BS & Advanced Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 4 years Nursing Administrative Experience.
Board Certified in Leadership preferred
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations, while maintaining a calm confident manner
Strong Leadership & Development skills
