Job purpose: Brightree is the market leader in business management and optimization software solutions in the post-acute care space. On this transformational journey, we are making exciting changes to business by standardizing our offerings, value propositions, pricing and resource models, and internal delivery processes. “Productizing” our software+ services will enable us to become more efficient, more scalable, and lay the groundwork for supporting the rapid digital and patient centric transformation underway in the post-acute care space.

This leader will help connect key data sources and disparate modules and service offerings cohesively into the Brightree customer journey within the customer's eco-system in a manner that delivers an interlocked, connected, and experience driven eco-system nurturing value proposition. This journey should be one that is easy to adopt, is personalized with automation and customer data; most importantly has no or low implementation footprint.
As the VP of Product, you are expected to have a strong product management, analytical and technical background with deep experience in business process driven products, consumer, or post-acute healthcare industry experience to creatively solve for the needs of our very stable customer base as well as provide innovative solutions into HME & Pharmacy market. You will be accountable for the ReSupply solutions and will lead a team of Product Managers, Technical Product Managers in collaboration with technology teams to deliver products to market, develop new revenue generating offering to the highly penetrated market, develop product strategies to gain new market share by managing the full product lifecycle from strategic planning to market release and measurement. A successful candidate must be energized by building deep customer empathy, lead people, very familiar with developing business cases, ROI models, product roadmaps and resource allocations. They should have extensive experience in design thinking, discovering opportunities through data analysis, shipping and supporting new and mature solutions, and communicating our direction internally and externally. They must have demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of products.
As a people's leader, you will work closely with your direct reports to develop and mentor a mix of diversely talented team that can practice outcomes based road mapping activities, become well versed with drawing out business process that represent customer problems, get adept at interviewing customers and are measurably skilled in accurately identifying and tying solutions back to Brightree/ResMed vision and ultimately are able to traverse cross products to always build solutions that result into the value of Brightree interlock by understanding and applying the customer's eco system and their business goals to the solutions.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Set a Vision : Own the strategy development, business case, product build & launch for cross-practice innovations across product areas including Data & Analytics, Resupply and Customer's stakeholders Experience with a hyper focus on Patient Journey. Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to aid decision making about product concept, strategy, and content; Apply lean product principles and own the roadmap development for all products within your portfolio
Obsessed with Vision Communication : Developing and presenting regular business reviews and roadmap presentations to customers, internal stakeholders and prospects.
Build for scale : Accountable for driving roadmap prioritization with a balance between innovation & non-functional scalability and platform health requirements.
For, with and on behalf of the customers : you will drive market research, user research, data analysis and user testing that informs product requirements to build products.
Product Management Standards : Have strong experience in using product management tools, have developed standards to capture requirements and deep experience in roadmap sequencing across multiple teams to drive the full value in a standard mechanism
Drive engagement: you will partner with marketing to develop post launch engagement mechanisms to drive increased usage post launch.
Leading problem-solving efforts across product leads to identify and remove impediments to growth and drive high-levels of customer satisfaction/retention
Instill a segment- and solution-focused approach to your portfolio and roadmap, ensuring our roadmaps are centered around outcomes driven, business process governed and value creating solution interlocks
Drive our product organization to take a financial and adoption-oriented, metrics driven approach to making decisions about what we build and what initiatives to prioritize, backed by customer data.
Have heavy experience is launching MVP solutions to the market with the proven ability to monetize and commercialize ideas
Support a robust customer engagement model so that we can get customer feedback on a regular basis, such as through our advisory boards and our community portal.
Refine and grow our customer behavioral analytics, descriptive analytics, and site experimentation practices to leverage data and scientific methods to drive customer outcomes
Evangelize and excite our customers and internal stakeholders.
Lead and inspire within Brightree - get our engineers, salespeople, and other internal stakeholders excited about our product and our product strategy.
Ensure that the context - the “why” - behind the work we are doing is well understood across the organization.
Collaborate well between Product and Engineering and the entire company.
Improve PM's partnership with Engineering by establishing strong relationships with Engineering leaders and becoming their counterparts / supporters.
Develop cohesive relationships with other peer organizations: Sales, Marketing, Support, Success, Service Delivery, and Security.
Build and grow a strong product team
Instill a talent-focused culture in Product Management.

Base Pay Range for this position:
$194,000 - 290,000
