Customer Service Coordinator

GEDIA MICHIGAN LLC Orion Township, MI (On Site) Full-Time

GEDIA Michigan has an amazing opportunity for an individual to join our growing team here in Lake Orion, MIchigan. The Customer Service Coordinator is an integral part of our Logistics department. This position is truly a merged extension of the logistics and customer service portfolios and will be RESPONSIBLE for: 

  • Being the contact for all customers of GEDIA Michigan, LLC
  • Setting up all shipments to the customers and provide thorough communication.
  • Carrying out objectives correctly, on schedule, swiftly and economically.
  • Maintaining materials and inventory information.
  • Desire and ability to be cross trained and fill in gaps when necessary.
  • Manage the supply base for product on release and or being processed.
  • Participate in physical inventory process and verification.
  • All other functions on an as needed basis.
  • Setup all shipments to all different customers for any part owed from pre-series, series and service requirements.
  • Label and inventory utilizing SAP.
  • Manage outbound miscellaneous shipments.
  • Manage and understand customers sites.
  • Daily review of all customer releases notifying key plant managers of any needed communication.
  • Create and send all schedule agreements (SA) to the suppliers.
  • Review all transactions that displays errors or any unfinished functions.
  • Perform the sending and receiving of the product to the outside processors.

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • German speaking advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Sound experience in logistics, production, purchasing and sales processes within the automotive and automotive supply industries.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Intercultural competence for the corresponding supplier and customer regions.
  • Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for all the job functions and to create and excite action with creative freedom
  • Must have a positive attitude toward learning and performing any task that you have been trained on.
  • Identifying with the company, its functions, and objectives.
  • Resilient and collaborative worker.
