Quality and Assurance Manager (Bilingual- On-site)
Position Summary
Develop and maintain quality standards, establish regulations for products and employees. Analyze data for product control and development while maintaining evidence of all processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision of policies, regulations and quality standards of the production plant. Ensure federal, poultry, sanitation and HACCP; Assist in the internal annually Audits and annual SQF audit.
- Control and supervision of transfers for satisfaction, expiration and aging of processed product. Test creation for samples and cost allocation.
- Coordination with warehouse for rotation of raw material and finished product; Assist in conducting record reviews of customer complaints and maintaining a Customer Complaint Investigation Register.
- High of new products in collaboration with inventory department. Generation descriptions, formulas and special specifications; Update and review Procedures and Documentation Registers
- Receipt, monitoring and execution of corrective actions of complains by quality; Ensure customer quality requirements and act as a liaison between customers and plant management.
- Introduction and training in applicable regulations (SQF, HACCP, Safety, etc.) to plant personnel
- Administration and monitoring of safety, sanitation, quality and cleaning inspections of the plant; Oversee and provide leadership and development for HACCP Coordinators, QA Supervisors and QA Technicians.
- Development of sales promotions for output of processed product for inventory inventory optimization.
- Physical labor included such as lifting weights up to 50 lbs. and working for long periods of time in cold enviroments from 32*F to -6*F

- Health and Safety Responsibilities
- SUPERVISE AND PROVIDE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION.
- Distribute health and safety information to employees regarding occupational hazards in their area of work; Ensures personnel is properly trained in safety practices and followed through production hours.
- Provide induction and refresher courses to ensure the ability of assigned personnel to address occupational health and safety responsibilities, including: workplace hazards, safe operating procedures, and the use and maintenance of safety equipment and emergency response procedures.
- Oversee aspects of work in relation to occupational health and safety performed by staff.
- Facilitate OHS consultation processes between the management team and staff
- SUPERVISE AND PROVIDE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION.
- Special specifications: Knowing desirable in food industry, time availability, age 25 years min.
Education & Experience
- Education: Industrial, chemical or related engineer. Desirable mastery in quality.
