We are a law firm of six attorneys (and growing) who practice employment law. We primarily service large business and governmental clients. We are a unicorn of a firm in this space. We are woman and minority-owned and powered by a diverse team of talented professionals. We are poised for 50% growth in 2023 -- with an A-Team in place. We are looking for a business development professional to help us organize, focus and develop our business development efforts; facilitate client engagement efforts; onboard new clients; and nurture our current and past client relationships. •* This position requires in-office presence three days per week, one day remote. This position only requires work four days per week, Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities: About the role Your key responsibilities in this role include: • Assist the partners in developing annual and quarterly business development strategies • Plan and execute Firm business development initiatives, including webinars and social activities • Facilitate attorney participation in speaking opportunities and professional conferences • Coordinate the Firm's external presence, including leveraging LinkedIn and social media and website updates • Assist with research and engagement concerning potential clients • Client Intake and on-boarding new clients • Lead the Firm's response to RFPs • Client care - periodic client check-ins, facilitate sending cards, gifts, and information, work with the finance team to address invoicing concerns • A matter close out, including obtaining client feedback and testimonials • Create and/or modify standard operating procedures for all functions of the position • Assist in maintaining the Firm's business development budget Qualifications: About you The successful candidate for this role will possess the following: • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, marketing, communications, or public relations.  • Experience in business development for legal or professional services firms.  • Superior experience in leveraging LinkedIn for business development purposes. • Willingness to learn and communicate the challenges that HR and employment law provide.  • Ability to work professionally with a small team of attorneys and staff.   • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
