Job Title: Drupal Developer
Location: Remote (Concord, NH)
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
This position will work on mostly the front end of the client's web portals with some backend work as needed. One web portal is a static HTML environment and the other is a vendor hosted multi-site Drupal platform. Websites (+/-100) are being converted from the static HTML platform to the Drupal platform. The job requires customer/client interaction on an almost constant basis with coordination with other team members crucial. Submitted candidates should have a background in web development, administration, and content management using Drupal as a CMS with optional experience with an HTML-based CMS. They should have experience working in an environment where WCAG standards are followed so they have that familiarity as well. SCOPE OF WORK: Manage and make daily edits to existing HTML and Drupal State websites while developing new Drupal websites to be added to our Acquia Multi-site Drupal web platform.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develops, and maintains websites for Client agencies on the Client website HTML server environment as well as on the client's vendor hosted Drupal server environments.
• Make website edits based on email requests in a timely fashion.
• Serves as administrator (aka Webmaster) of State agency websites; assesses agency needs and makes recommendations concerning the development, maintenance, and configuration and troubleshooting of content, links, and servers.
• Attends and participates in meetings with client's agency personnel to gather information, document business needs, and build consensus for website designs.
• Install and manage Google Analytics on a site-by site basis. Work with agencies to ensure they have access to their websites analytics
• Ensures that agency websites meet all web accessibility standards as established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Prepares end user documentation and training for client agency personnel in the use of official State Content Management Systems and website best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with at least 15 credit hours in the field of computer science. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience:
Four years' experience as a computer programmer or systems analyst associated with computer systems similar to the recruiting agency. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of Drupal, HTML5, CSS, web design/development best practices, and ADA web compliancy (WCAG standards) is required. An understanding of PHP and JavaScript is desirable.

Skills:

• Experienced using Drupal as the CMS for a website
• Experienced using Drupal's Admin to control the functionality of the Drupal website
• Experienced managing, communicating with and making client requested web edits
• Experienced training Content Managers in using Drupal to edit their websites
• Experience with HTML 5
• Experience with CSS
• Experience working in an environment requiring WCAG standards are met
• Experienced using HTML-based CMS like Dreamweaver or equivalent
• Experienced creating web graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud
• PHP experience
