Global consulting/outsourcing solutions company seeks an experienced VP/Director of Sales to lead a team of Remote/Virtual Account Managers.
This position includes ongoing hiring and performance management, mentorship, coaching, keeping accountable to targets and creating a high-performance culture.
Will also work closely with the Marketing and Client Success teams to better equip their Sales Team and provide a feedback loop of growth strategies for the wider business.
Excellent opportunity: Will work closely with the CEO. There will also be close collaboration with other members of the Executive Team. The outcomes of this role directly impacts revenue and client satisfaction.

Requirements for Vice President/Director of Sales- REMOTE:
10+ years of phone sales experience. Must have experience in leading teams in "one-time” phone sales/closes, ex. professional coaching, professional consulting, training, education sales, recruitment sales, SaaS sales (if one-time closing on the phone).
As mentioned above, extensive experience in selling "high ticket” phone sales, in a "one-close” environment.
5+ years of experience in leading a high-performing, numbers-centric sales team
Experience in hiring, developing and retaining top sales talent
Experience in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proven track record of developing new revenue opportunities to grow the business
In-depth knowledge of company product offering (developed in first 30 days)
Knowledge of high-performance leadership strategies to create an accountable, high-performing, numbers-focused sales recruitment team
Good working knowledge of sales processes and objection handling
Understanding of commission-based sales teams and how to maximize sales opportunities
Knowledge of consultative sales and how to build rapport and trust quickly
Ability to motivate and drive others to reach Sales Targets and KP's
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Confident, mature communication style
Ability to identify new revenue opportunities to grow the business
Active listening skills
Confident presenter in a one-on-one telephone sales environment
People Leadership skills
Solution based sales skills
Critical thinking skills to identify problems in the sales team and rapidly develop solutions to fix them
Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

Other Position Requirements
The North American team works across 4 time zones - Flexible working hours may be required.
Interstate or overseas travel may be required from time to time to support business operations (Covid permitting, this is not on the agenda for your first 3 months)
