*** Industry is looking for a Project Administrator for our Pomona, CA factory. Our growing facility has one hundred and fifty employees that produce high-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment for the western United States market. Our processes include material handling, metal fabrication, final assembly, and test.
The project administrator position is responsible for aiding with managing project budgets. The position prepares and updates CAPEX/Spending reports, sources quotes from existing vendors for projects and helps identify new vendors for our facility needs. The project admin utilizes time management skills to help the team stay on track to achieve project deliverables.

" Create purchase requisitions & purchase orders through multiple ordering systems (ERP, Open Order Platforms, etc.)
" Develop specifications, checklists, and standard work processes for procuring indirect material for the local team
" Assist in writing and teaching procuring process procedures to ensure processes are being followed and *** terms and conditions are in place
" Follow up and track existing purchase orders to closure to ensure proper P&L alignment
" Lead development & improvement of database controls to track budgets & project status
" Provide support to suppliers & vendors via email/phone to resolve any procurement issues
" Collaborate with project managers to ensure project budgets & resources remain on track
" Collaborate with finance and manufacturing engineering to ensure capitalization of assets
