Mission :

As part of Act4Patients, the Clinical Key Digital program leading the Digital transformation of the Clinical function, one of the strategic streams is called I3P (Innovation & Interfaces for Investigators & Patients). This stream aims to transform the way we engage patients and health care organizations in clinical trials, to position Sanofi as a leader in innovative clinical trial management.
In line with this ambition, Sanofi Digital Clinical function launched a Digital Product focused on rethinking patient engagement by leveraging Digital channels and mobile solutions to create a direct link with patients and enable real-time monitoring as part of Decentralized Clinical Trials.
This vision is already on-track with the set-up of an ambitious partnership with one of the market leaders to co-build a New-Generation patient platform through a long-term collaboration agreement, with the exciting goal of putting this mobile application in the hands of Sanofi clinical patients as of 2023.
As part of this Digital Product team, the Product Owner role is at the center of this strategic direction, with a mandate to define the Product vision and secure the delivery of a workable product that delivers value in every release and materializes the long-term clinical objectives with the right quality & cost.

The Key R esponsibilities:
Owns the “Product” from a “What” and “Why” perspective (accountable for vision and requirements) for “Integrated Patient Platform” Products and components

Secure and update Product vision and roadmap

Ensure Product strategy alignment with Digital Architecture guidelines and Data strategy

Collaborates with Pod Core team daily, providing guidance, addressing ambiguities, and being readily available when issues arise that could delay the delivery

Is accountable for delivering incremental value every sprint, aligning with the overall goals from clinical function

Has the responsibility to challenge, prioritize and negotiate with the Business and/or the Digital partners towards Product vision

Works closely and owns relationship with Customer Experience team do guarantee optimized and seamless Customer Experience on end-to-end Study Design process

Owns backlog prioritization of the Product and full team

Responsible for maintaining Product requirements, Jira stories and their alignment with product vision and expected features

Define and monitor Product KPI's and ensure that the product meets target metrics

Ensures that Digital Product/computerized system meets all controls to address applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams spanning data science, product management, and engineering to build and share knowledge and disseminate Agile mindset & best practices

Communicate and explain complex processes to people who are not experts.

Research and implement best practices to improve the existing features

Required Qualifications:
Job-Specific Skills:
Master's degree in computer science, or equivalent scientific degree

5+ years' experience with a strong record of accomplishments in Product Ownership

Strong background in multi-channel engagement, mobile solutions and patient-centric solutions

Strong experience in Agile working methods & tools

Experience in Clinical domain is a plus

Transversal Skills:
Proven ability to identify technology options and drive decision-making that balances business and technical vision.

Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.

A change agent with a combination of business, science & technology, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Effective communication skills that can adapt to different teams and personality types

Ability to commit strongly and daily to the project, vision, team, and the business.

Ability to navigate and communicate smoothly from the small backlog items to the larger business goal aligned with the Digital priorities

Proven strategic vision, ability to anticipate evolutions due to internal and external factors

Forward-thinking and like to explore new ways of applying existing and innovative technologies to solve Business problems
