RN rehab unit night shift supervisor.

Job Summary: Responsible for the direction of short-term rehab and respiratory resident care in the skilled nursing home setting. Manages licensed and non-licensed clinical staff. Consults with staff, physicians, and management team on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to ensure resident needs are met.
Job Duties:
- Demonstrates adequate appropriate documentation in the resident's record, follows documentation expectations and policy/procedure.
- Makes rounds on rehab unit multiple times during shift.
- Provides and receives report.
- Communicates with DON and on-call physicians as needed for urgent matters.
- Provides clinical care to residents with professionalism.
- Treat residents with respect and dignity.
- Assess and reassess resident pain, utilizing appropriate pain management for residents.
- Ensures safety/security of facility/unit during off-shift hours.
- Coordinates and directs resident care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- Current CPR Certification.
