WEBSITE: [ Link removed ] - Click here to apply to Senior Business Analyst (Hybrid) You AreAs the Senior Business Analyst, you are responsible for working with business leaders to create data analysis frameworks focused on analyzing the overall business performance that will provide decision support to Sales, Marketing, Forecasting, Operations and Leadership. You are responsible for developing and deploying analysis tools that use internal and external data sources to build reports and dashboards. You will also work with and share best practices with other Business analysts within the AMES functional teams. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in data analysis & modeling, project management, working in a data-based business environment, and assessing impacts of recommendations.

WHERE YOU WILL WORKAt our state-of-the-art world headquarters, in modern, and thriving Lake Nona, Florida. The position is Hybrid. Working remote Mon and Fri and in the office Tues-Thurs

What You Will Do

  • Quickly understand key business questions and develop a framework for data structures and inputs to answer these questions. Use creativity to approach problem solving
  • Develop and maintain external and internal data pipelines and tables in Snowflake
  • Combine multiple data sources to extract meaningful data insights
  • Leverage Tableau and Power BI to build effective management report dashboards that display sales performance, customer opportunities, operational decisions, etc. to support running the business
  • Interface and collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Product Management, Operations and Executive management teams to understand open questions and data analysis opportunities that could present solutions, actions, and focus areas.
  • Present data analysis and recommendations for business leadership
  • Work with Analyst peer group to drive use of data analytics through the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or equivalent experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Business Analytics, Financial Business Analysis, Project Management, and/ or Sourcing Planning
  • General Competencies in Excel spreadsheet modeling, and database usage
  • Ability to combine multiple data sources to extract meaningful data
  • Develop and maintain pipelines, tables, and views in Snowflake
  • Experience in Tableau and Power BI reporting software and dashboard development
  • Experience in data mining and querying in relational database systems such as Access and writing code in Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Basic understanding of financial impact analysis
  • Sales and Inventory Forecast Management
  • Knowledge of Retail Industry and POS system reporting a plus
  • Experience working with major retailer customers a plus
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Excel, Access, and Word
  • Strong analytical mindset, and ability to communicate business analysis in a clear and meaningful way
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace
  • Ability to properly maintain confidential or sensitive information
  • Ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information
  • Python and data preparation and Azure data factory is an added advantage but not required
  • Approximately 10% travel required
