Summary

OFRO supports PwC's market facing activities by enabling client engagement teams to more effectively assess and manage risks in order to facilitate the profitable delivery of our products and services.Our Quality Risk Management team is a consultative team that includes client service facing risk management professionals and those who focus on risk management for internal teams. OFRO works as an enabler to support Firm, Line of Service, and Vertical/Business Unit Leadership, and collaborates with Global and other Territory Risk Management teams, Office of the General Counsel, Independence, Ethics & Compliance and other client service and infrastructure teams.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in providing services to clients in highly-regulated businesses (e.g., financial services and healthcare), and assisting clients with addressing regulatory compliance matters, which can be used as a basis for working as a Director in the RCC, working closely with OFRO RAFT (e.g., Platform Risk PArtners, Managing Directors and Directors) and business stakeholders across Platforms, including:Advising client service teams in complex risk management matters such as engagement-related consultations, proposal and contract reviews, new product/service-related initiatives, and other risk management matters as they arise;Developing requirements and collaborating with other firm enablers to implement various risk-management and/or other related business process systems as an enabler and/or through simplification initiatives;Preparing and presenting on risk management and quality matters to client service teams and other enablers;Being challenged and comfortable challenging others;Communicating clearly and concisely in verbal and written communication, including the utilization of Google Suite to draft and review documents, analyze data, and prepare related presentations;Building collaborative working relationships within OFRO and business stakeholders at all levels of Firm leadership; Collaborating within OFRO and with the business;Influencing outcomes and reaching thoughtful and meaningful solutions/conclusions that balance risk management and client service needs;Developing and enhancing across the Firm an awareness of Firm services and risk management requirements;Approaching initiatives in an organized and knowledgeable manner; Delivering clear messages, including requests for information, and performing necessary follow up activities;Understanding the Firm’s risk management policies;Assuming leadership roles, and working on firm-level and solution-level initiatives;Directing efforts in utilizing creative problem-solving abilities and a consistent consultant mindset, and demonstrating a proven ability to research problems and/or issues and developing effective solutions for initiatives related to risk management, quality and independence policies and guidance, and the application of these policies and guidance to new strategies and/or other initiatives, while considering changing business needs;Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;Developing strategic solutions, as well as writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently, to and/or for all levels of audiences, clients and/or internal staff and management;Developing and implementing multiple programs and initiatives balancing resources across projects; and,Anticipating future needs of the organization/unit and to effect change in strategy to meet these needs.
