Non CDL Box Truck Driver
PACE
Memphis, TN (Onsite)

Pace is currently hiring Full Time Box Truck Delivery Drivers (Non-CDL) for immediate start in our Memphis, TN market. Join a team of professional drivers who are service first, safety first, and culture first!
As a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, you will make multi-stop business to business deliveries from the Pace cross dock to retail locations in and around the Memphis, TN area. Deliveries are made using a 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate and consist of unloading freight at local retail stores. Freight may be palletized and/or floor loaded. Palletized freight is unloaded using a manual pallet jack. At times, deliveries will be heavy-touch when cartons require hand delivery using a cart. Drivers are generally assigned routes 5-6 days per week, Monday through Saturday. A typical route is 150-300 miles and takes approximately 8-10 hours to complete. Start times vary between 8 am - 9 pm .
Key Responsibilities for Non-CDL Box Truck Driver:
• Operate a 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate
• Pick up freight and deliver to Pace's customers in scheduled time-frame
• Breakdown pallets for customer as needed
• Deliver cartons (boxes) to customer store using carts/pallet jack
• Use Pace delivery app/scanner to track and document all deliveries
• Maintain good relationships with our customers when making deliveries
• Punctuation, and accuracy within customer time windows on all deliveries
• Timely communication with team regarding route issues
• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner. What does it take to work for Pace?
• Must have 12 months or more experience driving a Box Truck or qualified commercial vehicle
• Not afraid to touch freight when needed
• Must meet background and drug screening requirements
• Valid DOT Med Card
• Drivers must be 21 or older
