Indianapolis, IN Full-Time

As part of the Indy Data Partners team, this Systems Administrator will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and providing maintenance to assigned client or internal environments. 

Job Requirements:

  • Windows Server Administration
  • Managing Active Directory, Group Policies and Security Baselines
  • Azure and VMware Hybrid Cloud Administration and familiarity with other Cloud hosting providers.
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both on-prem and cloud based environments
  • Ability to develop, test and implement simple and complex technical resolutions
  • Understanding of enterprise networking: TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, DMZ, SSL/TLS
  • Adhere to change management policies and procedures.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of IT tools used for providing customer focused technical support
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to be on-call and perform after hours work when required
  • Able to analyze and make recommendations appropriate to business needs
  • Experience managing customer relationships
  • Solid communication skills
  • Capable of managing of complex tasks
  • Must be both customer service and results oriented
  • Clearly communicate updates to team and staff as appropriate
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work; Strong time management

 3+ years IT infrastructure experience including the below skillsets (moderate to expert level), preferred:

  • Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Security Baselines and Microsoft Exchange
  • Configuring and Managing Hyper-V/VMware/Azure/Amazon based workloads (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS)
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies
  • Ability to serve as SME for Microsoft 365, Azure Identity and Azure AD Connect
  • Understanding of Application delivery and load balancing concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
  • Working knowledge of Information Security Best Practices
  • PowerShell scripting experience

Preferred certifications: Azure, Cloud and/or Virtualization Certification, CISSP, Microsoft certifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with 3 years’ experience, preferred

Schedule: Availability may be required for onsite client assignments in Indianapolis, as needed, otherwise the this position allows for a hybrid schedule, with two days in the office per week/3 days remote

Work Status: Indy Data Partners requires employees who are legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and do not require sponsorship for employment
