This group is tasked with accounting for the Company’s Revenue and Contract Asset balance according to US GAAP. The Senior Manager will collaborate with the Revenue Determination group, A/R and GL teams within the Company to understand and proactively review and analyze the revenue accounts. This position will report into the Director of Revenue Operations.Your ImpactManage the Revenue Operations team, which includes 4 direct reports.Responsible for the revenue management system.Participate with leaders on the revenue team to ensure revenue is recorded in compliance with ASC 606.Review of revenue tie outs, which involve the review of complex deal arrangements and a strong understanding of software accounting principles.Review Balance Sheet templates to review large contract asset activity.Review of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.Review of quarterly analytics and account rollforwards.Collaborate with the G/L team on the monthly close deadlines.Collaborate with FP&A on financial statement fluctuations.Coordinate with other members of the Finance team regarding revenue and contract asset financial statement disclosures.Communicate with external auditors and lead the Revenue Operations team through quarterly reviews and annual financial statement audits.Identify and implement process improvements for the monthly close activities.Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance8+ years of relevant accounting experience.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.Oracle or related ERP experience preferred but not required.
