Procurement Analyst II

AA2IT Wilson, NC (On Site) Full-Time
Qualifications: Education: BS/Associate Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field. CPM or related course work highly desirable if no degree or equivalent procurement experience, with demonstrated excellent technical skills, and/or recent college recruit. Experience: Minimum 4-7 years experience in commercial, business, operations function required or experience in non-procurement role. Skills: Knowledge of Procurement related business processes desirable. Proficient in the use of personal computers and business software. Excellent oral/written communications. SAP experience a plus. Responsibilities: The following service items for Change Control team support via the Procurement function. The service items listed are not all inclusive. " Support the Wilson Change Control Team by providing technical support to implement the necessary packaging-related Change Controls, artwork Tech Approval, and SEL creation/approval because of the MSD Company Name and Address change. " The Client Project Manager has determined that this continued support will be needed initially until May 2023. If resources are still needed after May 2023, re-evaluation will be done, and an extension proposal will be requested at that time. This professional will act under the direction Tiago Wan, and/or their designee. " Specific work will consist of: o Performing an item-wise review of multiple component items with guidance and prioritization from their Client contact and completing the steps necessary to route them through Client's material tracking system (the End-to-End Database). o Writing requests to suppliers for these changes and tracking the progress of each one. o Providing specs (from the MIDAS database) and artwork proofs for this change. o Communicate with Client's Supplier Transparency group (a Quality function), the status of the change and providing any requested status or information needed. o Any other item-specific data maintenance as required or needed for training on Client's systems and Procurement support of the project. o Approximately 1800 SKUs will require this change, but it is likely that a portion of these 10-25% will be obsoleted during the course of this project. Work will be directed by Procurement, Client Change Control team manager, and teammates. Client's business hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. This can be flexible to small degree (1-2 hour forward or backward) to accommodate candidate schedule if approved. Work will be managed and performed by qualified individuals that are knowledgeable of Client processes and procedures
