The Senior Software Engineer role encompasses designing, developing, and modifying many different elements of technology. You will be required to understand advanced methods, theories, and research techniques that establish ongoing direction and implementation of the technology vision and strategy. We will be looking to you as a subject matter expert in multiple technology areas that will positively represent your team within and outside of your department. You will be leading implementations and providing viable recommendations for implementing new solutions. You will also be required to monitor key performance metrics to ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures.
In addition, you will:
Leads the project team through Workday integration discovery and scoping.
Interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design and specifications.
Learns the business process and recommends solutions that effectively meet the needs of the business.
Uses Workdays various integration technologies to code and perform unit and integration testing of Workday integrations to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements and standards.
Works with other software engineers to design interfaces between software applications.
Uses Workdays implementation methodology to deliver successful integration deployments.
Contributes with Workdays integration products, tools, and services in a way that results in high customer satisfaction.
Uses Workday skills to trouble-shoot integration issues.
Provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.
Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures; continuously identifies and recommends opportunities for improving security.

Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
3+ years developing and implementing integration solutions with Workday HCM
Experience integrating SaaS/Cloud-based systems with third-party vendors.
Must demonstrate in-depth working knowledge of Workdays various integration technologies (EIB, Workday Studio, PI, CCW, DT, API).
Experience in a specific Workday HCM API project.
Experience in problem solving, including analyzing requirements, identifying, and defining the problem to be solved, collecting data, establishing the facts, drawing valid conclusions, and developing solutions.
Must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with subordinates, peers, management, teams, business partners, vendors, and departments.
Must demonstrate personal management skills emphasizing time management, organization, and attention to detail.
Must demonstrate a strong customer service support ethic and the ability to deliver the highest, most consistent level of customer service to our customers.
Must demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, including good listening skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Experience with Agile Methodology and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence and/or similar tools.
Experience with Jenkins.
Experience with source control management such as Bitbucket/GIT.
Experience with XML and REST.
