Retail Accessory Specialist

Artech LLC Lansdowne, VA Full-Time
Summary:
The role of the Retail Accessory Specialist is to be the designated expert for the
Audi accessory and collection business in their specific region. The RAS will be expected to leverage their knowledge of existing and new products and in-store merchandising processes to drive total accessories (PIA and DIA) and collection sales and improve under-performing dealerships.

Key focus areas:
Drive Accessories & collection sales (50%)
Marketing Communication (30%)
Merchandising (20%)

Key Responsibilities:
" The RAS will be assigned the total accessories sales target for the region and work with the PACs and RASMs to achieve each monthly target.

" The RAS will be assigned focus/DIA Process improvement stores within their region, by their Regional After Sales Manager.

" The RAS will be tasked with significantly improving the DIA and collection Dealer purchases and sales-out performance in each of these stores. Working with the dealership to get commitment and develop/execute an action plan for each underperforming store.

" Each year RAS will develop a specific plan to develop the business of each DIA process improvement store.

" The RAS will regularly visit their assigned stores based on the needs of the business, in order to identify DIA opportunities and implement sales processes. Coordinate timing with AASM, Client and potentially ASM.

" During the course of these visits, the RAS will be expected to perform the following activities:
- Monitor and ensure that the Dealer is implementing and maintaining appropriate in-store merchandising practices.
- Discuss/Promote/Demo upcoming new accessory and collection products. Offer opportunity to pre-order if appropriate.
- Diagnose issues within stores to improve performance
- Analyze current collection and accessory purchases and inventory vs current objective. Develop a strategy with dealership to meet/exceed objective.
- Provide dealer with an overview of all the marketing/training/ tools material available for specific accessories and collection products
- Promote Dealer-Personalized products from the Audi collection.
- Solicit feedback from each dealership and reach out to department specialists to address any concerns (e.g. Product, Technical Support, Marketing team)

" The RAS will engage with dealers and regional field operatives to support National accessory and collection incentive promotions.

" The RAS will work with the RASMs and PACs to develop and execute regional incentive/promotion strategies to increase DIA/collection purchases throughout the year.

" Each Month, the RAS will send out a communication to all field team members and dealers within their region, that will feature the following elements:
- Product of the Month (Accessory)
- collection item of the Month
- Current Promotion/Incentive information.
- Dealer Feature: An example of a Dealer best practice being implemented in stores
- Quick Tip in-store merchandising/product opportunity highlight

" Analyze Sales Out Performance of collection and Accessories within each store. Determine opportunities to increase throughput and suggest repeat purchases based on data provided.

" Notify Corporate Office of any In-Store Display Material Requirements or Marketing Support Needs. Police any grey market collection activities taking place within the dealerships.

" The RAS will regularly report in to the Accessory Sales Lead in the Herndon Office and attend bi-weekly calls with the RASMs, Accessory Sales Lead and Accessory Sales Specialist to provide updates and request additional support.

" To aid and assist with merchandising, product knowledge and new product promotion, the RAS will receive and may request samples of certain products during the course of the year from the AoA Accessories team.
Adhoc tasks, including, but not limited to:
" Monthly check-in calls
" Bi-weekly calls with Audi Accessories Team (Herndon) and RASMs to provide updates and troubleshoot.
" Bi-weekly emails to track progress
" Compile, design and distribute ad hoc accessories/parts incentive communications
" Engage the dealer network through email/phone to highlight product launch information, incentives, best practices, objectives etc.
" Offer new/remodeled facility merchandising assistance and consultations
