COMPENSATION RESEARCH ANALYST AT GLOBAL FINTECH FIRM
Base Salary is $125K to $200K (based upon experience and candidate)
Year-end Bonus; Relocations Bonus; and Excellent Benefits
 
Renowned Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced Compensation and Talent Research Analyst to join its Human Resources Analytics and Products Team. Members of this team are curators of employee data and leverage it to help answer strategic and operational talent questions for leaders across the business.
 
We have returned to the office in a hybrid model based out of our NYC Headquarter Offices where employees will be in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. U.S. employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
  • At least Two (2) years of relevant work experience in a compensation, data science, or business analytics setting
  • People analytics experience is preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in using SQL for data retrieval and have advanced Excel skills for working with data and creating reports
  • Familiarity with Python/R, Microsoft PowerBI, and applied statistics (especially in a social science setting) is preferred, but not required
  • An eye for applying data visualization best practices to high-quality reporting products is a must
  • Dedicated customer service mentality
  • Well-developed interpersonal, and written & verbal communication skills
  • Able to see how small details impact the bigger picture
  • Knack for rapid problem solving
    Willingness to dive into details, collaborate effectively with teammates, and drive projects to completion is imperative
  • Able to exercise utmost discretion with confidential information
 
Responsibilities
  • Help envision and develop solutions to streamline existing compensation processes (e.g., new offer generation, benchmarking)
  • Lead research projects involving the use of compensation data
  • Can glean insights from compensation data
  • Work directly with Human Resources and business leaders to support compensation decisions
  • Use analytical tools to make compensation information easier to consume for leaders across the firm
